Children (Ages 3-11)

At Bespoke Snowsports, we believe that skiing can begin at a very young age. Our programs for children between 3 and 11 years old are designed to be enjoyable and engaging, tailored to suit their unique interests and ways of learning. We strive to make the very first skiing experience fun and memorable. Our skilled instructors use playful techniques to keep the learning process entertaining. For our youngest group, ages 3 to 6, we offer shorter private lessons that fit their attention spans and help build confidence on the snow.

For children aged 7 to 11, we offer personalized private lessons lasting at least 2.5 hours. These sessions emphasize skill-building through interactive games that encourage a passion for skiing.

Safety is always our highest priority, ensuring a safe environment for all activities. At Bespoke Snowsports, we are dedicated to nurturing a lifelong love of skiing in every child.

Teenagers (Ages 12-15)

At Bespoke Snowsports, we are passionate about skiing and believe it is an exciting activity for teenagers of all experience levels. Our programs, designed for ages 12 to 15, cater to both beginners and advanced skiers in a supportive and enjoyable setting.

From the very first lesson, our focus is on boosting confidence and enhancing skills. Our skilled instructors tailor private lessons to fit each teenager’s individual needs, providing the right balance of support and challenge to encourage growth.

FAQ

Grimentz-Zinal is a high-altitude resort, so temperatures can be quite low, particularly in January. Like all mountain resorts, the weather is hard to predict, but March and April generally tend to be sunnier months.

Private lessons are available for booking in English, German, French, Dutch, Spanish, and other languages depending on availability.

In a mountain setting, the weather can shift rapidly and frequently. We suggest dressing in multiple layers so you can easily add or remove them to stay comfortable. You’ll need a waterproof jacket and pants, along with a helmet or hat, gloves, and protective eyewear like goggles or sunglasses. For snowy or foggy conditions, lenses in yellow or pink are ideal for low light. Children under 16 taking lessons must wear a helmet. While it’s not mandatory for adults, it is strongly advised.

Grimentz and Zinal have several restaurants around the mountain, ranging from self-service to full-service gourmet meals. We are happy to book restaurants on your behalf. If you would like us to do this, please inform the office or your instructor at least one day in advance.

Both Grimentz and Zinal have several ski rental shops offering a range of equipment for visitors. However, we strongly recommend Valsport in Grimentz because of their excellent product quality and exceptional customer service. Their experienced staff make sure you find the perfect fit and the right gear to improve your skiing experience.

We can provide private ski lessons for children starting at just 3 years old. This enables very young beginners to receive personalized instruction suited to their age and skill level. For the little ones, we offer special lesson formats designed to match their age and physical abilities.

If you have booked private lessons, our instructors can meet you at various locations within the resort. Usually, we meet at the top of the Bendola cable car. However, please confirm your meeting point with the office when booking. The instructor will contact you directly to ensure the meeting time and place run smoothly.
