General Terms and conditions (GTCs)

These Terms & Conditions form the contract between you (the client) and BrookLin Collective Sàrl.

BrookLin Collective Sàrl previously operated its ski school activities under the name Ski Zenit and now continues the same products and services under the new name Bespoke Snowsports. This is simply a rebranding of our ski school activitiesthe instructors, management team, and way we work remain exactly the same.

It is important that you read and understand these Terms & Conditions before booking. While they must be adhered to, we always aim to be flexible and find solutions that work fairly for all parties.

1. Definitions

  • Client: Any individual or group that books, purchases, or participates in products or services offered by Brooklin Collective Sàrl operating under the new name, Bespoke Snowsports.
  • Products and Services: All ski and snowboard lessons (private or shared-private), freeride guiding, ski safari products (including van transfers provided by instructors where included), technical tasters (e.g. moguls, carving, freestyle, off-piste, intro to ski racing), and related activities, as well as any associated products or arrangements provided directly by Bespoke Snowsports. Snowboard lessons are offered exclusively in Saas-Fee.
  • Booking: The process of reserving products or services through the available channels.
  • Official Travel Restrictions: Limitations imposed by government authorities affecting travel, including pandemics, epidemics, and public health orders.

2. Bookings

  • Bookings and enquiries can be made via:

    • In person:
      • Saas-Fee: Bookings and enquiries can be made directly at our Bespoke Snowsports office, Obere Dorfstrasse 54, 3906 Saas-Fee, Switzerland.
      • Val d’Anniviers: Enquiries can be made at our partner rental shop, Valsport, Route de Moiry 1, 3961 Grimentz, Switzerland. To secure a booking, please confirm by phone with our office team.

  • For every booking, Bespoke Snowsports will send a booking quote detailing all products or services, prices, and any discounts or credits applied.
  • Bookings are only confirmed once 100% payment has been received. Any booking not confirmed within 4 days will be automatically cancelled.
  • Clients may request modifications (e.g. date changes). Additional fees may apply, and changes are subject to availability.
  • Payments can be made by:
    • Credit or debit card via secure payment link (sent by email).
    • Credit or debit card by phone or email.
    • Bank transfer (all fees must be paid by the client; we must receive the full amount in CHF and a receipt must be emailed).
    • Cash in Swiss Francs (for in-person bookings).
  • Important: Unless explicitly stated in the booking, lunch, ski passes, and rental equipment are not included in any Bespoke Snowsports product or service.

3. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Refund structure:
    • Up to 28 days before the start of the first session: 90% refund on Bespoke Snowsports products and services.
    • 28–7 days before the start of the first session: 50% refund on Bespoke Snowsports products and services.
    • 7 days or less before the start of the first session: No refund on Bespoke Snowsports products and services.
  • Administrative fees: In the event of cancellation and refund, an administration fee will be charged (minimum CHF 50, maximum CHF 250).
  • Third-party products and services (e.g. hotels, apartments, chalets): the provider’s own terms and conditions apply.
  • No refunds are given for late arrivals (see 3.b. below), no-shows, or early departures (including for unforeseen circumstances such as injury or illness). Clients must ensure they have suitable travel insurance to cover these cases.

3a. Resort Closure & Force Majeure (Saas-Fee & Val d’Anniviers)

  • Force Majeure: Events beyond the control of Bespoke Snowsports, including but not limited to: extreme weather, natural disasters, lift breakdowns, avalanches, power outages, strikes, government restrictions, pandemics or epidemics, border closures, or other official travel restrictions.
  • Complete Resort Closure: A day on which the entire lift system of the booked resort is officially closed by the operator:
    • Saas-Fee (Bergbahnen Saas-Fee, including glacier access), or
    • Val d’Anniviers: Grimentz–Zinal, St-Luc/Chandolin, or Vercorin (Remontées Mécaniques du Val d’Anniviers).
    • In the event of complete resort closure, Bespoke Snowsports will:
      • Attempt to reschedule the affected lesson(s), or
      • Issue a credit note for the lesson fee (valid until the end of the same season), or
      • Provide a refund of the lesson fee for that day (daily, pro-rata), less any applicable administration fee (see Section 2).
    • If lifts remain open in any capacity (i.e. partial closure), lessons will go ahead in adapted form (e.g. on different slopes or in another ski area, where possible). In such cases, no refund or credit will be provided.

3b. Late Arrivals

  • Instructors will wait up to 30 minutes unless informed otherwise.
  • Lesson end times are always based on the original start time.
  • Missed time cannot be guaranteed to be made up.
  • No refunds for late arrivals.

4. Travel Insurance Requirement

  • All clients booking with Bespoke Snowsports are required to have valid travel insurance covering trip cancellation and unused services.
  • Minimum coverage: trip cancellation (illness, accident, emergencies), medical treatment and hospitalization, repatriation, rescue (including helicopter), and third-party liability — all appropriate to the product or activity the participant is taking part in.
  • This requirement applies to all products and services, including third-party bookings through Bespoke Snowsports.
  • Bespoke Snowsports does not insure clients. Insurance is the sole responsibility of the participant. Proof of insurance may be requested.
  • Many credit cards provide travel insurance if payment is made by card. If not, clients must purchase additional cover.

5. Ski Pass

  • Ski passes are not included in lesson fees unless explicitly stated in the booking.

6. Equipment

  • Mandatory safety gear: Helmets are required for all ski & snowboard lessons and freeride sessions for children under the age of 18.
  • Specialised equipment (Intro to Ski Racing lessons): Certain lessons, such as “Intro to Ski Racing,” require specialised equipment not included in lesson fees, including a back protector and, if necessary, shin guards and chin guards for slalom training.
  • Clothing and general gear: Participants must bring appropriate mountain clothing for winter snowsports.
  • Off-piste products: For freeride lessons or guiding clients must bring a full safety kit (avalanche transceiver, probe, shovel, backpack) and ensure that their insurance covers off-piste. Without this, participation may be refused without refund.

7. Safety

  • Safety is paramount in all Bespoke Snowsports activities.
  • Staff follow legal obligations, FIS regulations, resort rules, and professional standards.
  • In case of accident, illness, or unforeseen events, staff will act in participants’ best interests.
  • Participants must follow all safety instructions. Failure to do so may result in exclusion, with no refund.

8. Liability

  • Participants are personally liable for any accidents, damages, or injuries they cause.
  • Bespoke Snowsports holds liability insurance as required by Swiss law. This does not replace the participant’s own accident, travel, or liability insurance.
  • By booking, participants acknowledge skiing, snowboarding, and mountain sports carry inherent risks and accept responsibility for their own safety and for following instructions.
  • Swiss law applies. Jurisdiction: Sion, Valais.

9. Under-Age Minors

  • Staff exercise duty of care for minors during lessons and transfers.
  • Drivers and staff must follow safety standards when transporting minors.
  • Parents/guardians remain ultimately responsible for ensuring minors understand and follow rules.

10. Organisation of Lessons

  • Lessons operate with defined minimum and maximum participant numbers.
  • Private lesson = 1 participant : 1 instructor.
  • Shared-private lesson = 2 participants or more with 1 instructor.
  • Travel expenses for activities outside Saas-Fee or Anniviers are not included unless explicitly stated.
  • Ski Safari: This product includes transport by van provided by Bespoke Snowsports, with the instructor acting as the driver. The transport is itemised separately and charged on the invoice.

11. Data Protection & Privacy

  • Client data is handled confidentially under Swiss law.
  • Data is used only for service delivery and essential communication.
  • Data may be shared only where necessary to fulfil bookings (e.g. lift companies, hotels, transport).

12. Feedback & Complaints

  • Feedback is welcome at any time.
  • Complaints must be submitted in writing or by email.
  • Bespoke Snowsports will review and respond promptly to reach a fair resolution.

13. Severability

If any clause in these GTCs is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain valid and in force.
